The Development Manager position is an opportunity for a strategic, mission-driven fundraiser passionate about housing justice. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to establish funder relationships. We seek someone to lead our grant writing, prospecting, and impact tracking, while also growing our individual giving and overseeing our annual benefit. The Development Manager will have the opportunity to shape strategy, not just execute it. The Housing & Community Development Network of New Jersey, the statewide association of housing and community development organizations, seeks a Development Associate to join our dedicated staff for this full-time position. The successful candidate will have strong writing skills; experience and understanding of affordable housing issues; and a commitment to racial, economic and social justice. The Director of Strategic Initiatives manages and grows two important business development programs for the State: The Opportunity Zone program and the NourishMD Grant Program.
