The Community Power Accelerator Prize | U.S. Department of Energy — Deadline 12/17/2024 A $10 million prize competition designed to fast-track the efforts of new, emerging, and expanding solar developers and co-developers to learn, participate, and grow their operations to support multiple, successful community solar projects. Community-based organizations are among those eligible to apply.
Energy Improvements in Rural or Remote Areas | U.S. Department of Energy — Deadline 2/27/2024 Funding Opportunity Number: DE-FOA-0003428 Funds rural and remote communities (10,000 people or fewer) to build clean energy projects that benefit their communities. Nonprofit organizations are among those eligible to apply.
Environmental Justice Thriving Communities Subgrants | Stay updated on subgrants opening in your region. Subgrants of $75,000-$350,000 are now available in four EPA regions, with more regional opportunities opening soon. Thousands of community-based organizations across the U.S. will receive funding to support capacity building in communities affected by environmental or public health issues. The subgrants can be used for assessment, planning, and project development activities.
