Sign Letters to Support Section 4 and HOME Program Funding

Section 4 Capacity Building

Urge Congress to provide $50 million in funding in Fiscal Year 2027. The Section 4 program provides funding to increase the capacity of local community development corporations (CDCs). This sign-on letter was organized by LISC, Enterprise Community Partners, and Habitat for Humanity. CDCs work to develop affordable housing, finance small businesses, revitalize commercial corridors, and address local health care, child care, and education needs.

HOME Investment Partnerships Program

Urge Congress to allocate $1.5 billion in for the HOME Program in Fiscal Year 2027. It is one of the most effective and flexible tools states and localities have to meet their affordable housing needs — including rental home production and preservation, single-family home construction, homeowner rehabilitation, and tenant-based rental assistance. The HOME Program leverages $5 for every $1 invested and supports jobs and economic opportunity. We are a proud member of the HOME Coalition, which organized this letter.
